Here we are in the hospital with Zeke! We were able to stay about an hour. It was so wonderful!! One of the caregivers said that he has not been very receptive to the nurses so it is amazing that he took to us so well! I told her that I have been praying that God would be bonding his heart to ours all these months we have been waiting and He clearly did that. He was so happy to see us. He played with all of us and sat on all of our laps. He had an IV in his foot so we each crawled in his bed with him. There is one picture I am going to try to post where he is making a funny face. We all laughed so hard and then he kept doing it. He is smiling but closing his eyes.
We only stayed an hour because he got so worked up and excited while we were there. His breathing was a little harder toward the end of our visit. I think we wore him out. As soon as I placed him back in the area on his bed that had the humidifier he put his thumb in his mouth and looked like he was ready for a nap. I absolutely hated leaving him but we will be able to go back tomorrow. We also found out that he will be able to come straight to us on Monday instead of going back to the orphanage. The don't want him around all the other kids. So.....we will more than likely have him starting Monday. Can't wait!!
Love to you all!
